Member of the American Gear Manufacturers Association

The quality of a gear begins with engineering. Although the majority of our business has been engineered by our customer we do have our own engineering capabilities and experienced gear engineers that review all drawings before manufacturing.

Our facility operates on a "First Piece Inspection" quality program. Each operation on our routing requires that the first piece must be inspected prior to going to the next operation. This inspection is performed from initial sawing to grinding the teeth.

All inspection records are maintained and can be provided to the customer upon request. In addition, the calibration of machines, checking, testing and measuring equipment is performed on a strict schedule and fully documented.

Our Hoffler gear checker is calibrated and checked against an actual standard. Hard copy documentation is available for gears up to 50" in diameter.

All parts are stamped according to the customers requirements including part numbers, job numbers, drawing numbers and serial numbers. Additional information can be included if required.
